Lol smh...indeed Bats knows multiple fighting styles (illustrated in Begins), to which aft training under Ras Al Ghul *directly in the League Of Shadows, he practically creates his own unique fighting style to combat crime. However...BANE was not only trained within the same League, but gained "enhanced" strength also. NO FANCY-LOOKING FOOTWORK from Bats would've made any difference (audiences/US, simply wanted a bit better choreography I'm guessing), end result still would've been the same. This was at least better than the scenario(s) in BATMAN & ROBIN 😂

A big part of martial arts is controlling your breath, taking deep deliberate breaths with sharp exhales when you’re blocking, taking a hit or striking. Bane is a drug addict due to the gas from the mask. It might not have even done anything to him or not worked as well as it should. Or Batman may have surmised that the mask is feeding him pain killer and thought a dart might have overdosed and killed him..

It was Batman’s ego. Prior to this scene Alfred even tells Bruce “what happens when you face Bane?” Bruce replies “I’ll fight harder, I always do….” He thought because he beat Ras Al Ghoul, that he thought he could face Bane.

He could have also shot a grappling through his leg and swept him lol

But I guess the whole point of the scene, is that batman was extremely complacent and out of shape at this point.

I sent this to my sister after I'd been lifting a couple of years, and I said I really wanna be as jacked as Bane someday!!! She responded that I was already bigger/more jacked than Bane and I could relax on lifting. It is was the finest compliment I have ever received, and probably ever will receive. I still revisit this scene to remember what it was like to be underdeveloped back in the day.

He didn’t dodge the gadgets Batman threw because he knew that even if they were explosives or something deadly, it would have made Bruce a coward in a hand-to-hand fight amongst ex-league of assassins members. So that narrowed it down to him knowing it was just an attempt for Bats to displace his senses, which failed.

Banes mindset is frightening as hell! As I was watching this in the theater , that line about being born in darkness and the light being blinding gave me the chills.

I remember seeing this on opening night and even though I knew that Bane would beat Batman and break his back, that this was still very unsettling to watch 😅.

when the boss is getting attacked and the goons just watch you know you are in deep shit.

As someone who goes down swinging... There do nothing that gets me more pumped than the hero getting beaten by a monster. A literal monster of physical and mental strength

I never understand how this movie had this scene with such iconic dialogues but there were also some stupid cheesy scenes like "I came here to stop you" and Talia goofy death

Very true. Bane went out like a chump as well.

@@Bfettrules True, the mask thing seemed cheep af. Not to mention the venom just being pain medicine instead of monster gas was dumb. Banes basically reduced to a gym bro fentanyl addict leveled with a few punches by the end of the movie.
@Bfettrules7 ай бұрын
@@Space_Ghost_Hunter very true. He punched a column and chipped it. They should have said something to the effect of the venom being experimental for pain management and unnatural strength with mental side effects. It almost as if they couldn’t decide. When I saw him do that I kinda was like “Whoa does he have the venom serum in gas form?”

Everytime bane spins back and punches at batman with a sort of nasally growl always gets me, there was so much intensity in that punch and it took him one punch to send batman reeling.
