just a tidbit that no one would ever notice or ever care about but shows that this movie was made with pure quality... Nuada's blade was wet from when he splashes it in the puddle. When it shrinks in his hand you can see the water left on the shaft collect and fall from the point that it converges.

Holy crap you can actually see the water dripping from the sides of his palm, that's insane detail. Also I believe the real prop is the short spear, you can see the fire reflecting off the handle in a way that would be really hard to pull off with CGI I think

Luke Goss has somehow continuously slipped through the cracks as the complete, and utter GOAT that he is. His portrayal of this character, Prince Nuada is so stunning and unforgettable. Is he really this much of a martial arts badass?! While everyone was saying that Mads Mikkelsen should've played Garalt of Rivia (which would have been awesome as well... no slam on Henry Cavill) I was thinking of how much Prince Nuada already resembled Geralt!

He wasn't for the idea of his entire race going extinct just to maintain peace with humans. The truce stated that humans would keep to the cities, while the woodlands remained under the rule of the mythical races. That agreement was already broken, but his brethren were just going to do nothing. This movie would've been better had Hellboy and his allies actually seen Nuada's side of the issue. Was awakening the Golden Army too extreme? Yes, definitely. Did Nuada have valid reasons for rebelling against the humans? Yes. Prince Nuada fights not for himself, but for the preservation of the entire Mythical World. Take the Forest Elemental, for instance. Beings who were once regaled as the stoic guardians of the Woodlands, providing energy and succor to the plants and animals. Do you know why Nuada called him the "last of his kind"? Because the humans keep deforesting the fucking Earth.
