is it true that you will mostly have to work in rural areas to be able to get a job in CE?

a lot of plants and industrial facilities are in more rural areas. site locations for oil and gas and mining may have a FIFO (fly in fly out) work policy, e.g. you work for 2 weeks on site (working 10-12hr shifts) then they fly you home and you're off for two weeks. you could also work for consulting companies which are based in cities, however, the most pay will usually be at rural areas
