Maybe I'm old (elderly aged 🤣) compared to you all, but when I was newly student the classes that professors emphasizes were geometry and trigonometry, algebra, precalculus and calculus , vectors, matrixes , electromagnetism (all the concepts ,meaning and calculations) electrical circuits, electric machinery, from that basics knowledges we derived to more detailed electives of the carreer . In my experience Ali although Ltspyce is recommended by the automotive industry (because have tools to measure current and tension in the simulation of the circuitry?) it goes more electronics, for electrical simulations I highly rather "Proteus" with it anyone simulate from PLC's , Arduino, transformers, and paralleling of generators, with electrical motors simulations you could measure THD's and calculations to the 13th harmonics😊, pretty good!!

Tried arduino on several projects, I came to the conclusion it is unstable and false responses were many. It can be used for learning and tinkering, but for long term/contractual/epc level projects won't recommend it. There are better, more robust, durable and stable microcontrollers. Although these commercial microcontroller's coding instructions library and specifics register addressing is harder than that of arduino(coding Arduino is much much closer to natural language instructions; has easier IDE), it is worthwhile going for the alternative.
@TonyDaExpert7 ай бұрын
Stmcube ide is prob the best middle ground since it has a lot of help online
@almnr81S77 ай бұрын
@@TonyDaExpert Not familiar with that, but all I can say is feasibility study is must, besides the ease of programming and integration of certain ones. E.g certain controllers cannot handle temp above certain limit or cannot cope with application cycle time of on and off i.e it may exhaust manufacturer's max lifetime on and off. Some cannot bear corrosive environment. In short, for commercial/contractual level projects it is best to explore, design the PCB and send the blueprint for fabrication and then integrate everything yourself using Multisim/ltspice.

Hey. I have some questions about the American PhD program. Since (as I know now) there might be some differences between different universities in the US so you could answer from your experiences. 1: have you done your phd straight after your bachelor's degree? Is it a typical way in the USA or is a Master's (MS) degree required for that? 2: does your phd include courswork? If so how many semesters or how many years of coursework? 3: if you have accomplished a MS do you still need to enroll in the full set of courses of the phd or can you actually "cut out" some courses which one could have finished anyway in the MS? 4. How long does a phd in engineering or Electrical Engineering usually takes if you pursue it full-time?
