i write an app where i can schedule a time alarm to trigger a foreground service which starts exoplayer .. between alarm manager - work manager - job scheduler or maybe any other , which one do you suggest as the most convenient for that kind of task ?

Can i start a activity in future by this jobscheduler. I want to start my activity in a future timestamp time ... Only the app is open then only i want to start the future activity...is it possible to do by this method?

This is not working if I close the app. On Samsung s10 android 10. It works only if app is running and in background or foreground. Any idea what could be wrong ?
