Joby Production Launch - eVTOL Aircraft Roll-Out Event

In June 2023, more than a thousand guests joined us in Marina, CA, to celebrate the first Joby eVTOL aircraft to roll off our pilot production line. We’re grateful to every team member who made this milestone possible, and everyone who took part in the event.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you need to make high quality flight vids so that people can dream about using your magnificent creation. Make some awesome take off and landing vids if the experimental crafts can't leave a certain area. Just trying to help. Take care and keep it going ✌️

Alot of Hype....I b Can't see what you've accomplished......all these launches seem to be reading Fro m same script with big Name dropping and big claims......but what youve got is a vehicle that goes from airport to airport with charging anxiety Ang you've not arrived at your desired location..don't see even building some landing infrastructure would Change anything 400 million really..afraid another Boom!

There are plenty of videos of Joby eVTOL flying. The purpose of this video was to announce the assembly line is up and working AND the mass assembly has been approved by the FAA, just as the aircraft has.

@@cindyhahn877 No, the aircraft has not been approved by the FAA. Only for testing purposes. It is a long way from being approved for commercial operation, and operation over populated areas. In a recent press announcement they were bragging how this aircraft could complete a 7-minute flight from downtown to JFK. You must be kidding...

@@CockpitScenes its more like the field they can fly over is approved with the special airworthiness certification for testing. they didn't inspect or test the craft before getting it.

If we already have safe helicopters that can make autogyro, why make it like unsafe human drones? It seems to be more dangerous than a helicopter! Why don't they make an electric helicopter instead?

@@gerald4027 these aircraft’s will have better maneuverability then a helicopter and considering these “taxis” will be landing in the city and or residential areas i would say that automatically makes it safer ! not to mention cruising noise level will be quieter than a car the same can’t be said for a helicopter.
