​​@@jahciplebut the thing is, his talent was honed there too. if i remember correctly, angels were the only one willing to let him play two-way (maybe not true idk) when he was posted to mlb. but it was also a decision from the angels that we were able to see him have his 2021 mvp season, they lifted their "ohtani rules" which they adapted from his time in japan. that allowed him to play as much as he could in 2021. tho i agree that he was wasted in terms of having games that matter and could result to a world series. also trout and ohtani just never could have a season together where none of them is injured and both at their peak, it was a pity actually. two of the bests on one team and they just can't get the timing right.

Sewalds pitch sequence to ohtani was a double edge sword..... He threw the change up and ohtani just missed it so they can't throw it anymore....he strikes out ohtani with a high fastball....so they tried to do it again with smith but fall short then again high pitches to get pop up or swing miss but dodgers batters were expecting it....
