I am mesmerized by your sensitive playing. Yet it is your guitar that first grabbed my attention. In 1995 I read Benedetto's book on Jazz Guitar Construction. A life changing moment. Based on his book I ended up building 130 arch top jazz guitars. My life will never be the same. Your fluency on the fingerboard excites me to no end. You are easily taking your chops to a new level. From a new fane, most likely forever.

Wow!!! I hadn't seen any of your content yet, but bless that algorithm for sending your video my way! I was a fan from the first note. I really dig your phrasing and what seems to me a real mastery of the tradition of jazz guitar playing. I hear nods, suggestions, riffs on so many players, but what comes through most strongly is your own voice. Your band kicks ass! Great rhythm section and great individually. Thanks!

I grew up replaying Wes' "Down Here On the Ground" on my turntable since I found it at a thrift store in a small Texas' town when I was a kid learning guitar. I never thought I could play jazz. I went the punk and later country route. I stumbled across you the other day just as I did that record. Thank you for doing what you do. You've reignited my drive to learn jazz guitar (and a little western swing). It doesn't hurt that you got one of the sickest rhythm sections out there. I mean, damn. Nothing against the pianist (he rips too), but damn. Serious guns backing your chops. Thank you!

Long time fan… congrats on this new show - nice relaxed format, and good production! Great writing, stellar playing (by all!)… so tight - great tone and touch! And, that wonderful smile makes it all the more enjoyable! And, your vocals are always icing on the cake. Name for the show… “Gould Notes” seems appropriate on many levels😉. Freudian slip aside😂😂, kickin sounds, Jocelyn! And about that “self doubt” early on… I’m sure it provided an impetus to be the best you can, and prove yourself - which you’ve certainly done! Cheers! 👏🔥😁

Chanteuse - based vocal, love to hear that timeless singing. Jocelyn's approach reminds me of a comment Russell Malone made when he received a review saying "His playing is great but he won't challenge you. Russell said, 'I like my audience' and he went on to discuss input Jimmy Smith gave him when Russell was coming up. Jocelyn seems to like her audience.
