Jock O'Hazeldean (A solo as part of Susan's house concert - Jan 2025)

Jock O'Hazeldean is a beautiful traditional Scottish song from 100's of years ago. The story involves a woman being forced into an unhappy marriage. In the end, she escapes over the boarder with her true love, Jock O'Hazeldean. A happy ending to a traditional Scottish song!!
This arrangement was made by the wonderful musician/guitarist/teacher Al Petteway. The tuning is CGCGCD. The sheet music is available through Al and Amy's website www.alandamy.com/. I made some minor modifications to the arrangement to make it more of a solo piece. Al's ear for beauty is present throughout.
