I meet Tom backstage at the Detroit opera theater in 2007. One of the best experiences & shows I've witnessed in my life, right next to seeing & having a sit down with John Hammond Jr. and his lovely wife at George & Harry's in Dearborn Michigan , on the Avenue. Mark is unbelievably talented in many, many styles. I really enjoyed your patience and explanations, thank you! God bless you sir

Thank you! I saw TW on the Mule Variatons tour at the Beacon in NYC, and it was an astonishingly good show.

Excellent - thanks! I've been stumbling around with my own (not very convincing) version of this for years, so this is very helpful in sorting it out properly! Nicely explained, as well.

This was the first song I tried to play when it bought my electric after some years of fumbling with the acoustic. It's been giving me some headaches and pleasure since then, but your videos are helping getting it better (it shouldn't be too straight anyway I think)

Yeah man this is wicked, do you know what sort of scale marc ribot works off in this?

Thanks, Sonny. Yeah, it's a great solo. It sounds to me like C harmonic minor (b3, b6, natural7), with a few passing notes.
