Great one, great guest. Calm, empathetic, thoughtful. I love how Jocko has the kind of instinct when just to let the thing roll instead of interrupting. 2,5 hours just flew buy. Thanks.

This guy was extremely genuine, you can see that he's really affected by the places he's been and the things he's seen. Awesome podcast

Jocko is such a great host - he always lets his guests speak as much as they'd like, as opposed to speaking over them like many other podcast hosts.

This podcast has a lot of information. I am a newbie in listening. My personal note and I just realized, if I just started listening at this podcast I would have been lost cause it is so different. I started from the first one and listened to this one all in a row non stop. So I am noting that my mind was ready as was my note pad and colored pens. I take notes to research what was read and what books to buy for my audiobook list. Today my neighbor stopped by and asked what I was watching.. I shared information with him. He shared his opinion. I said, "GOOD". Your comment is noted. This world has savages and bubbles. I am learning EXTREME OWNERSHIP lifestyle. Jacko podcast is getting me to read books, I see and here Real people, and when the SUCK happens just say GOOD. IT is okay to say Good when the darkness happens cause I choose to be the light and smile the good is around the corner.

Wow, just wow. I cant tell you the emotions this episode had me go through. Ive listened to some very heavy episodes but somehow this one hit hard. Thank you to the Jocko podacst for introducing me to Kieran Doherty. His stories really make you appreciate what we have. The story at the end about Royal Wooten Bassett really struck close to my heart 🇬🇧.

I'm so glad this podcast exists. This along with Waking Up with Sam Harris, Hardcore History and the Bret Easton Ellis podcast are so damn good.

I can’t imagine being able to stomach taking pics of a child’s body parts presented by the child’s father. That has to affect the strongest of persons. My God ‼️🙏🏽

@maddyndaddyjeans28927 жыл бұрын
Crystal Chandler I understand the tissue agreed. My action was to go out and volunteer in my community to honor and respect what they talked about. I cannot help that part of the world. What I can do is better my community by volunteering and mentoring the teens in my community this month.

I love it when there's guests on the show. I wonder if we'll see any of the "usual suspects", so to speak, in the future - like Andy Stumpf (DEVGRU), Marcus Luttrell, Lary Vickers, or any of the other SOF war-fighters out there

why is this guy whispering so much? it makes an otherwise great episode very frustrating to listen to
