Awesome podcast, I say this only 33 minutes in as I listened to the audio a few hours ago. My grandfather and his 4 brothers all served in WW2. Unfortunately I was never able to hear their stories but I know they would have all said they were just doing their duty as true humble men. Thanks for another outstanding episode!

We did not win it because destiny created us better then all others people I hope that in victory we are more grateful then we are proud I hope we can rejoice in victory but humbly The dead men would not want us to gloat Wow Thank you for the light Thank you for the people who have served. Alive and passed. Thank you for the people here at home fighting for society and the true essence of what it means to be American. For those who want war over peace. Kindly visit your nearest jujitsu gym and tell them you want to go to war. Remember War only stops when one side gives up or is killed off. Remember that when your being pummeled by a 2 stripe white belt or blue belt and then look at the purple belt and brown belt and tell them that you want war. Once you get played with by them Go to your instructor and tell him one of two things 1) that your ready to fight him to the death 2) thank you for your kindness and the opportunity to understand a little more then I did before. Then go out to the world treating everyone around you with respect and serve those who serve you. If you some how manage to beat the instructor… go on to the next gym and do it all over again. Over and over and over until you get the idea of what sacrifice sort of looks like. And then remember that’s just jujitsu. That ain’t nothing compared to the face of hell. The face of war. War is unimaginably worse. Guys at those gyms go there for fun. You want to talk about war. Ha! Tell that to all the white gravestones or any gravestone of that matter and tell them that your not willing to work on peace and your willing to throw away all the hard work your ancestors had done for you to provide you with a better living then they did. If you want to go to war, know that it’s the ultimate sacrifice. War is only meant when peace cannot be achieved. War is necessary when the lines of hell push back on the lines of heaven. You want war. Think about what that means. Anyone who wants war. Think about what your asking for because I sure as heck don’t want war. I want peace and prosperity and a future with people I am humbled to be at peace with. To serve those who serve and served me and to be respectful to those who don’t. It’s either that or your fighting for the darkness. Period.

Jocko, these are interesting, but these topics aren't exactly what I'm looking to hear from you. I want to you hear you and another interesting guy talk about the war in the middle east and how to push forward and win. I like on Joe Rogan's podcast when you were talking about how Americanism is at an all time low because of the current administration's run, and how truly great America is and I like when people talk about the advent of the Internet, Google and Apple or all these amazing American companies that are totally taken for granted. Instead people think pretty poorly of America on an international level. Your world is wrapped up around 'hoorah America' stuff, so you might not be aware of this, but the rest of the world doesn't support America. I think that as a proud American of your high stature it would help convince people of Americanism and explain why America are the 'good' guys and identify the enemy. The public is blind to a lot of these subjects. People need to know what the war is really about and what America is really fighting for, then the rest of the world can get behind it and go back to admiring and being inspired by America.
