Once thing I noticed is that most average males typically don't think of using hair as a advantage or disadvantage in a fighting situation. But I have seen plenty females fight growing up like during my school years or typical teenage drama even first time fighters and most females I seen fight their first instant go to is using the hair as a tool to gain the upper end. Its like its instinctual for them

I love long hair on men. When we first got together, my husband told me he'd had long hair in highschool that of course got buzzed when he joined the army. Then when I saw his senior picture, his hair just looked helmet-ish. I asked where was his long hair. He said, "in the back." I should have known. He graduated in '91.

Men and women are not the same, and that's a good thing. They never have been, and they never will be. It is okay to talk about those differences without getting politically correct about it. There is a reason feminine tendencies are more often associated with women, and masculine tendencies with men...

I always find the biblical argument mentioned very amusing. While the Bible does state that men should look masculine and women feminine, that was according to standards of their time. Men were also to maintain their beards yet many Christian men are clean shaven in the modern day. There's also the Biblical Hero of Samson, who power/relationship w/ God was reflected in his long hair- and he lost his power when Delilah cut his hair. There's also King David's son Absalom, who was also noted for his long, beautiful hair.

The Bible. A common theme for great men in the Bible is acknowledging their feminine side, but grounding it in the masculine. If you’re too barbaric, you’re just never going to have a healthy relationship. If you’re too feminine, you’re not going to be respected. Don’t get rid of your empathetic side, but try to ground your emotions more, be more neutral in your attitude and don’t react, but maintain control

i think it all depends on the type of culture. Modern military has adopted clean cut buzzed cuts, but if we look at other countries in the past, vikings, the ancient greeks/ spartans, huns, they all had long hair as it was a sign of virtue. As well men with long hair can just look animalistic and beast looking as well.
