It's a stretch, but I think Captain Jod Na Nawood will give his second mate, SM-33 instructions to give the wrong coordinates to the pirates (or has already on the way out of the caverns under the spa). They'll go to At Achrann and be shot at by that big cannon on the school. They toss Jod out the airlock, but the damages force them to land on the planet, so they can't follow the kids, who pick up Jod before he freezes, burns or explodes in space. Unconscious, he dreams of the flashbacta (maybe in space, but I hope, and more likely, on the ship). As much as we'd love to see another perspective of Order 66, I think the flashback happens long before then. Earlier pirates may be involved; a younger Benjar Pranic, perhaps?

I think the kids are what lowers the barriers and Jod takes out the real bad pirates and looks to save the day and get the loot. But then the Sith or the imperial remnants/ Thrawn show up.

I think he was taken in by a jedi survivor. Sensed the force sensitivity in him and taught him the ways of the jedi. If he was a true jedi he would have used the lightsaber to defend himself against the pirates. A jedi with the force and a lightsaber can very EASILY take on amateur pirates.

How does the outer hull being gone change the appearance of the interior of the Onyx Cinder?? That being said… Does seem like we are looking at the back sides of the pilot seats. When the camera is facing the pilots, we can see that communication sphere on the ceiling behind the pilot seats. So…yes…seems to be the Onyx Cinder. Seems more like Fern’s mom is negotiating with pirates as they try to get past the barrier. I’m not sure the trailer has the true audio that goes with that scene. But, could be the pirates are replaying the message. The pirates might be on the Onyx Cinder after the children have left.

I hope they do the clone version of Luke will happen , BUT, it’s the Luke they found in ROS, and real Luke is out there somewhere!! We will see Luke again, real Luke, but by Rey’s time he’s stepped back from galactic service to hunt fir the dagger to kill Abeloth like in the comics, NOT that’s he’s turned his back on the galaxy. I just want that to happen cause I hate what was done to Luke in TLJ.
