Thing is with the 90's, along with before, the standards were so high compared to today, you HAD to make hits in order to be heard, and a lot of Artists prided themselves on originality. The 90s n 2000s are the last original decades of music. Now everything sounds the same and we are literally just repeating the same formulas again and again, it's a real shame because the sound quality has gone up, but the standards down
