I ran this song into the ground when I was 22 years old, 1992. I got pregnant with my son 1994🤭. I told my son who is 29 now, and his friends we learned about love and being in love through music. Not all of us seen it at home.

Silk is on the best R&B /Soul Groups of the 90s. However, they are not a 'Boy Band'. There is a big difference between Boy Bands and R & B Male Groups. Boy Bands was a term given primarily to White Pop Groups like New Kidz on The Block, NSync, Backstreet Boys and the like. Most were not organically formed but, were formed by labels. They were like how K-Pop is now. Get some guys together, write catchy pop tunes that cater to pre-teens and teenaged girls, and market them like all hell. New Edition, Silk, Boyz II Men, Shai, Jodeci and most Black Groups were friends that formed into groups and focused on R&B/ Soul and catered to adult women. Somewhere along the line all male groups got lumped together.
