Good morning! Once you get the stains sufficiently gone you might want to reseal your grout. I had the same problem with missing spots of grout, you can patch them too with a small pot of grout before you seal the whole thing up again. For those of us who don't clean the shower often it helps a ton. 🌻🍄 Your bathroom looks fabulous! I'm off to wash my bedroom windows

Hey Jodie, on the caulk gun, there is a large metal paddle, just behind the trigger.. once you've pulled the trigger after caulking the area, press the paddle to release the pressure on the gun and it will stop releasing the caulk! 😊 xxx

What I do I is to prevent mold is leave the shower open don't close the door.. an if u have a windows in your bath room leave it cracked. Or if u have vents ...you need to open the vent so the heat an moisture. can go some where else in stead of making mold...I hope this helps...

Hi 👋 Jodi. How are you today? I've been doing various little things myself. Got things that have gotten out of hand, done. For my lunch today I used some fridge clean out foods...I created a curry & Rotel based meal....I took rice and dried onion bits and rinsed. Then set up my pot I cook the rice in with curry powder, s&p, frozen broccoli stem chunks & chopped turnips, mixed chopped peppers with corn. Then added my homemade tomato "soup base" to the amount of rice liquid called for ( when I froze tomatoes to make Rotel, I only used the tomatoes so the liquid left behind is canned up as tomato soup base. It's like broth/stock) & A small jar of my homemade spicy smoked Rotel and the rinsed rice with onion bits. Bring to hot boil and lidded. While it cooked on medium for 10 minutes....in my hot iron skillet with a bit of oil I added some leftover chicken that I cut into strips and sprinkled garlic and salt on. Once each side is seared then I break them into bite size pieces and add to the pot. Stir it well. Put the lid back on. Turn off heat and walk away for 5-10 minutes. Then remove lid, stir and serve. Delicious with the spice I like. It's amazing how spicy can help your whole body warm up as it boosts circulation...makes my toes warm up quicker!!!😅 Went through all my paperwork and bill stacks while waiting for call backs re all of that stuff. Then went through my " I need fast access to this" pile. Finally went through my "supply tower"stack that got knocked over. And went through some equipment I had lent out for a while and cleaned off the soot. 😂 Next up sweeping and washing floors and extra laundry and the continual rounds of daily dishes...as there is no mechanical dishwasher here- the human dishwasher ( namely, ME) gets to work on it often. Too bad you couldn't use a fancy tea saucer under that iron soap holder. Yes. Unfortunately it's hard to teach driving by the laws when others blatantly break them.

Lol about the driving. I was at a four way stop yesterday, teens in the car. It was my turn. A police officer to my left took my turn. I was annoyed, but it was a good lesson for the kids that not everyone obeys the law, even the enforcers. Earlier in the day, at the same intersection, a kid on a dirt bike ran the stop sign completely. Unfortunately, there was no cop there at that point.🤨🧐

On the topic of Viviana getting her licence.... I got mine a few months before my 18th birthday (September). I had my beginners at 16, but my Dad demanded that I do one full winter of driving with an adult in the car so that he KNEW I could handle bad weather driving. At the time, I was absolutely furious at him. Fast forward even a few years from that, and I was so very grateful for his decision. It literally saved my life a time or two. I am 60 now, and have 42 winters of driving behind me as a solo driver. I have never slid off the road, collided with another car or failed to stop at a stop sign or light - even in ice storms. And all because my Dad made the hard choice and drove with me everywhere for that first winter, coaching me as I drove. You are doing something very similar with your girl by teaching her and trusting her. Good job, Jodi!
@jodidunnmymessylife1847Күн бұрын
I think that is great!!!! Yes it’s so exciting to get your license and the freedom of driving is awesome. But there are so many situation’s that without experience could be bad. Winter driving is definitely one of them. Viv asked just yesterday if she’d be able to drive on her own soon and I said honey winter is coming and you have no experience driving in the winter so no 😂

Before I became handicapped with this stupid fibromyalgia, I used to clean the shower while I was showering. You can buy shelves that fit in the corner of your shower. They have suction cups on them. The ones we bought off Amazon are black and they have stayed up really well. TEMU also has them. I think they are cheaper on there, as is most things. Plus, you can get a lot of free stuff and extremely discounted stuff. But we bought ours last year, and that was before I saw the same ones on Temu. Anywayzzzz... I'm so tired. Sorry, I had to yawn. 😴😪😮💨 I used the clear spray cleaner in between scrubbing. You just spray and leave it. Also, ZEP cleaner works really well. They also have these wand things you can stick down in your drain to clean it out.... but I recommend getting a foaming drain cleaner to avoid some of that grossness in your drain. I also wanted to tell you about an ad I saw for winterizing your plants.... I think it's basically a spray that helps preserve them... WILT-PRUF Spray (yes they spelled it wrong LOL) I'm not a plant person but you should try it, I think. If you don't like using a bunch of chemicals in your home, try SEVENTH GENERATION cleaning products. They are plant based and all natural with no bad stuff in there.

I'm getting ready to put my Christmas tree up, but I'm missing some ornaments! So I will have to go look downstairs again to see! I usually put it up after Thanksgiving. But sometimes I don't get it up then. So it'd be a week or 2 in Dec & I want to enjoy it longer! Yeah, I remember helping a couple of my kids to drive. My younger Son wanted his license, so be bad he got it on his 16th Birthday! My younger daughter I did the most with. She'd practice & I'd tell things to do & things not to do! She got married at 18yr. She took her test & she got her license! My older daughter, she's, 51yrs never got her license. I tried to help her & she took a driver's training course! But she just didn't want to do it! My oldest Son he got his 16yrs or 17yrs he's now 53yrs! I just don't remember a lot. Mostly my youngest daughter! Well, have fun teaching her. I do know what you were talking about! It's hard to tell your kids the right way to do things & go by the law & then everyone else doesn't do them! But she'll catch on eventually, especially when she drives herself! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful day! ❤️😉🫂✏️📓🇺🇲🐾🦃🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻☃️✨️

In Australia we have mobile multanovas that sit in random spots and take photos of speeding cars, people still speed risking a ticket, fines and points off their driver's license. We just spent 4 weeks in the US and my husband drove with the traffic as he thought that was safer. In the 7 states we drove in we saw 5 police/sheriffs cars with radar guns and a few cars that had been pulled over. 4 way stop signs were a challenge for us as we drive on the left so we had to look to the left. There was one occasion he went around a round about the wrong way it was confusing as there were no cars on it at the time. The 1st time I drove when we got home I left the shopping center in the right lane, lucky no cars needed that lane. We loved our time but the trip to and from the East coast of the Us back to Perth is brutal.

Personally, I think you're safer if you keep up with the traffic. But it's best to be taught the right way first, just as you're doing. I was almost rear ended on the freeway once while doing the speed limit. The car behind me almost lost control because he came up on me so fast and had to swerve. Luckily, the road was almost deserted. She'll get the hang of it. She has a great teacher. Besides, no better feeling than being passed by a speeder and a mile down the road, he sits on the side with a police car behind him. Make sure you wave. 🤣

Those school zones can get you. My youngest failed her first driving test because they start the test by saying whether it is on or not, act like the school zone is active, and she was dealing with a car being stupid and wound up into the zone without slowing down AS IF it was active. She is a great driver.... held her permit a fairly short time. Less than a year, but she was motivated to get her license younger than any of her siblings. But the shorter time stacked the drive time up so she knows her way around much more than my son who held his for 2 years. He is skittish on the bypass, in town, etc because he only drove places we normally went to get the hours.
@jodidunnmymessylife18474 күн бұрын
Ahhhh yes I think that’s so important! I’ve been quizzing Viv every road name etc. She hasn’t memorized a lot yet but she started looking for the street signs and understanding how to tell where she is and where she’s going. I even get nervous when I’m driving in unfamiliar territory.
@GoingGreenMom4 күн бұрын
@jodidunnmymessylife1847 lol, we are still struggling with road names..... but our road system is a little wonky. N/S roads are odd, E/W roads are even, but we have rivers running through the county that snake around(and to confuse those matters even more, 2 are named the same thing but are in different areas of the county), and also many roads have alternate names.... and the county road numbers don't always follow the pattern. As a for instance, there is a road running from Goshen to Middlebury on a diagonal to the sides of the county. It is CR 22, but also is known as Goshen Middlebury Trail. On the other side of Goshen it is State Road 119, or Plymouth Goshen Trail. All are just names put on trails there from Native Americans, but they don't fit. Toss on top of that the fact the roads can come and go and it gets even more confusing. I want to say there are 5 or 6 sections of CR 21, but none of them are connected to each other, and they don't all line up with each other either. And of course some change names inside city limits too. US 33 I think has 6 different names and then seemingly just disappears in the next town over.

I'm still amazed that in America you don't go to course and don't drive with instructor for certain amount of hours and then pass an exam to even be permitted to sit behind the wheel, here you have to take the x amount of hours of theory before you even get to drive x amount of hours with instructor. I can't imagine one of my parents teaching me to drive, it would be a disaster. Also here you can't start your license until you're few months away from your 18th bday
@jodidunnmymessylife1847Күн бұрын
Yes that’s exactly what we do in America. They are required to have so many hours of class room time and drive time with an instructor. After they pass that they are required to drive so many hours with a licensed driver over 21. Then they have to take another course of classroom instruction and do a driving test with an instructor. Once they pass all of that they can drive on their own. It’s at least a 6 month process. Not sure why you thought we just put our kids in cars with no requirements 😂😂😂😂 that would be a disaster!
