A couple of sessions with a good coach works wonders. You quickly move from missing most targets to hitting more than you miss. That's the learning curve and it's mainly mechanics and physiology. When you are consistently hitting 75 - 80% of the targets improvement is a question of fine tuning and more mental than physical.

Just an observation, don't shoot with mechanical automatic watches. They tend to lose jewels etc.

Lane End's a good shooting ground, lots of good traps mimicking Rabbits and birds, nice environment.. Just behind that shooting ground, is where a WW2 Lancaster crashed, unfortunately killing all 7 Canadian crew on board.
