I like that he accepts there’s more than one way to skin a cat and everyone’s different . As per a previous video on one or two eyes, after years of YOU MUST SHOOT WITH BOTH EYES OPEN… I tried just one and it works for me, instant better scores.

Your videos with Ed Solomons have helped me immensely, I'm in the US and recently decided to get back into sporting clays and shooting competetively. Having not shot a registered target in 18 years and age creeping up on me, I definitely felt at a disadvantage. After applying what I've learned from these videos I was able to shoot an 89/100 today and bested my Master class shooting buddy by 7 targets. Thanks for putting these videos together and thanks to Mr. Solomons for his shooting wisdom.

Ed has to be one of the more captivating guys in the sport especially as far as coaching goes, well done all round lads, and hats off to the finish on his k80 for withstanding that stubble surprised hasn't scalloped the wood into custom cheek fit

A year on since this vid and I found myself back going through the Ed and Jonny vids again. Absolutely fantastic the relationship and connection between them works very well and the explanations are far clearer than when they have the ‘other’ Ed ‘lurking’ in the background. Let have some more of these please. 😉👍

I am a seasoned club level clay shooter and i watch the "tube" coaching videos from pretty much all the top coaches and i have to say i pick up more useful tips/pointers from Ed than all the others put together. Now this maybe that i can relate to Ed's methods of presentations more than others. I'm not saying other coaches are less talented but i'll stick with Ed all day long. He's the man.

Most coaches I've seen seem to have this notion that the way they shoot is the 'correct' method. Ed seems to acknowledge that each shooter is different, has a different style, and that every target is different. Tailoring coaching for those variables is the magic which Ed seems to have cracked.

I thought the only way to shoot every clay was to have a hold point at PRECISELY half way and to only shoot pull away to a pre-determined lead on every bird except really slow birds, going away teal and driven birds. Do you mean to tell me that isn’t Gospel and there are other methods???!!!! Excellent content again chaps, love these videos 👏👏👏

1) Can’t understand a word- needs subtitles. 2) requires more hard rock played over the various points. 3) not enough comments from fake accounts operated by the same person. 4) I want my membership money refunded

I'm not a spam bot, but I have 2 points to make. 1. Ed told me the key to shooting was not to be a C*** but there was not mention of this. 2. I started shooting just before the first lock down and using Eds lessons on how to make choices and refine them I am now due to go up to AA in the next CPSA edition, my average was 0.19% out for the current edition lol. Ed has played a huge part in enabling my progression, it gave all of my practice and energy a clear sense of direction with an applicable process. This also means that I can recognise why I missed something and can self correct in training and during a comp. Thanks Ed, Legend. Also you stopped Jonny from wriggling around like spaghetti 🍝 when shootong driven targets which has been great for my sanity.
