Such a HUGE HUGE fan of Jodie Prenger. She was just incredible as Nancy! I have met her 3 times, and each time, she has been lovely! She sings this song with pure emotion and her vocals are stunning. I admire her!

I still recall how Andrew Lloyd Webber was clearly furious that Jodie won because she didn’t have the aesthetic of what Nancy should look like. He seemed uninterested in her talent. She is and was incredible

All you criticising her for her crazy facials need to realise that in the actual show Nancy has a lot of movement during this song. She starts on the floor and as the song builds up she gets up and moved forward to centre stage. I know this because I played her. The producers obviously asked Jodie to stay in on spot for easy/effevtive filming. So she had to compensate with her facial expressions.
