We put that laminate flooring in our kitchen and laundry room. One dog has had no problems with it, but our excited girl scrabbles around, skids out, and falls on her behind almost daily. Your room looks great. Nice to have a dedicated space for projects.

I’ve never seen an embroidery machine. I have no idea how it works but it does amazing stuff! Always read ALL instructions before putting anything together. Here is why. 1. You make fewer expensive mistakes. 2. You learn to be comfortable with various tools AND the many ways you will use simple tools. It will make new projects go much faster and with fewer mistakes! It saves time, money and your sanity! Look, read the instructions on a day before you assemble. Make some tea, take your time and don’t rush. It works!

The only thing I hate more than blinds is installing blinds! They do look good in the room though. I love the floor

I would suggest getting a dehumidifier for that room. It will help prevent black mold from redeveloping in that one corner.

I felt that way about my pottery. Took so long to design and create, with 2 firings and all the possible glaze failures; it was so hard to price the successful pieces and sell them. Kind of hard, even sad to part with them. I, too, was bad at selling my work, marketing, and "smoosing" with customers at craft fairs. I was lucky to find a position working at a fine art and craft gallery and was able to sell there. The gallery did marketing for me. Best of luck with your new Ts. I love the bags and the original artwork. 💜

Ever since my first cat (& then also helping raise my husky fur-siblings who had a window low enough to access) I've found horizontal blinds/shades to be such a nightmare! If a pet wants to look though the blinds, they WILL find a way, and that way eventually leads to broken blinds if youre lucky! Horizontal blinds also attract little teeth, but animals can easily get stuck in the blinds & even strangle themselves (or end up needing their limbs amputated) in the pull strings, even if an effort is made to tie them up! Vertical blinds, on the otherhand, have plastic poles to twist & pull them open & a design that allows animals to move the blinds to easily see through the windows without any damage to the blinds. Also, unless the blinds are especially cheap & you have very sour-apple loving naughty puppies & kittens decide to wrestle with them or extremely aggressive & frustrated/angry/bored dogs (in which case nothing would stand up against them!) they can handle normal pet nibbles & bats. Damage to a blind or 2 means just replacing those blinds, not the whole thing like with horizontal blinds!
