They defended taylor with their LIVES when she got the tiniest amount of hate, or even got criticized constructively, for perhaps right reasons yet they contain and spread an incredible amount of hatred for a man, who has done NOTHING. Like you can not decide he’s a horrible person based off of songs, written through the perspective of ONE person, which aren’t even confirmed being written about him in the first place. I also feel great disappointment in Taylor for letting some of her fans put him down like that. He’s been called out as a cheater, again with no proof. Despite being an exquisite actor, he has been condescended because of his income or the fact that he is less famous than her previous exes. It speaks “highly” of those swifties to judge someone based off of their income (and I am PRETTY sure that he’s richer than %90 of them) or fame. “He’s exploiting and taking advantage of Taylor’s money and fame” while hating him for avoiding to get involved with taylor related issues, or even simple questions, the irony. Besides, I’ve seen many comments going on about “how humiliated he must be feeling because her girlfriend is richer than him” coming from a fan of taylor, who has fought relentlessly to beat these ancient and narrow minded gender stereotypes by releasing several songs and publicly speaking on it. Again, contradicting with themselves, they hate him for not publicly speaking on his relationship (because he values his privacy which was a huge comfort for tay during her healing process)Yet ironically, claim he’s a fame-digger (IDK if that’s a word lol) After he spoke about the break up, they again blame him for trying to drive attention to himself, yet when taylor releases multiple songs about it, she’s iconic. Let’s assume he’s a cheater. How does that even affect your life? Relationships are PRIVATE. He may have cheated on tay, she has every right to hate him. But you? I mean you may love taylor, but hating a stranger who has no beef with you because he did something bad to some stranger you like is seriously unhealthy. I mean I can not decide who you love or not, but please do not go off being so blindly obsessed over a stranger you do not know personally like 13 year old teenager. Grow up, mature up. I respect him a lot, because unlike many celebrities, he actually uses his fame and spotlight to draw attention to some serious issues, definitely more effective and important than one individual’s heart break; like war, massacre. Or just listening to all those amazing songs taylor has written for him, I can tell he’s a good person. I personally believe that he’s the wisest, the most mature, intelligent and down to earth man out of all her exes, while literally being the most unproblematic one as well. Just stop spreading hate for NOTHING, and consider how much taylor suffered because of the same exact reason.

Personally, I would like to hear more about Joe Alwyn’s new movie coming out: “Kinds of Kindness.” It’s set to be the cult movie of the Summer. GMA should have done a better job balancing this story with the brief comments (he felt uncomfortable but compelled to make) about how he is doing since the breakup. Hopefully as time goes on there will be less media interest with the TS connection and more on the actor’s work. Additionally, the parasocial fandom needs to stop harassing him. Okay everyone. The interview was real. GMA is reporting on the interview he did with the Sunday Times that was published this past Sunday. It was a real interview. I'm sure you can find it if you google for it. I don't know much about the relationship with Joe Alwin except they were together for 6 years. I do know about the devastating incident with Kanye and Kim that had the internet and media lash out at Taylor wrongly thinking her a liar. And it traumatized her so much she left the country. It seems she met Joe around that time. I wonder if the relationship would have happened or if so, just how long it would have lasted if Taylor was not PTSD from the backlash and hiding out. Joe being a reclusive type offered her quiet and being away from the media and the States. I'm sure they cared for each other and everything but, I do feel this relationship was tied with the backlash incident to a degree. I'm sure if they did not get together they would have been good friends. He seems like a nice guy. From what little I've heard about him he may have been somewhat emotionally unavailable and not that supportive in some ways. I hear there is not much about him on her latest album. I don't think they hate each other. It just did not work. Two very different personalities and both unable to find common ground. It happens. He seems to be in a good place and happy. Taylor with a guy far more suited to her. Someone who is outgoing and fun loving. He also attends her concerts when able. He seems to be really good for her.

6 years ago post 1989 she was still on the top. She retreated during the issues of the Rep era, fell in love and chose a quieter life but kept putting out more albums than ever during that period. So the reason she's on top today is also the work of that last 6 years .

When people criticize Taylor for "using" her exes in her songs, people like you defend her. If Taylor has the right to write scathing songs about her exes, they have the right to give their point of view too. It's only fair. Joe is actually being respectful about the relationship (unlike Taylor -giving way more personal details). Taylor uses her exes way more than any of her exes has ever used her.

Joe would love to “shut up” as you say if the parasocial fandom would just stop spreading misinformation and harassing him, his family, friends and co workers. If this happened,there would be no need for him to comment on it. Instead, I think he would gladly prefer to speak about his career and happier topics like the new movie, “Kinds of Kindness”. It is set to be the cult movie of the Summer. Additionally, he has two others in post production including, “Hamlet” and “The Brutalist”..
