bonamassa is just too good. don't want to be respectful but eric johnson is not in JB's league.

If you listen carefully to EJ's chord selection, how he approaches rhythm and chord voicing, JB is not in the same league. They are all great players in their own right. JB said he owns Eric a "loyalty check" everytime he plays the guitar in the beginning. He is heavily influenced by EJ. Among the pro players there is not much competition. The community is actually very small.

+Pingshan Rhythm/chord voicing and lead playing are two completely different leagues. Eric will probably always win on the former but at this point in their careers I think JB is a better, more consistent lead player. Not that it matters a shit, they're both phenomenal and putting them into different leagues is ridiculous.
