As someone who doesn't listen to him, what is the difference between his playing now and then?
@Johnny_0706 Жыл бұрын
@@b1gnasty69 The difference is that he got even better lmao

If Joe were to go back and listen to this he may wonder why he's spent so many tens of thousands on Dumbles and vintage Fenders?

I got 5 Budda amps...you can hear the reason why in this clip. 🙌🏻😃

I was thinking the same exact thing! There is no way his tone has ever come close to this in recent years. 🤘👍
@Bairov2 жыл бұрын
For real. His new tone lacks this throaty ballsy tone

the sound of that Les Paul and Buddha amp is the most amazing sound....

JOE SOUNDS THE SAME NO MATTER THE AMP.
@bluesman427012 жыл бұрын
Most tube Amps out their 2day r half decent 2some degree, none of them sound wrong unless the person is playing wrong, I hear guys on here all the time saying, this amp sounds crap, it's not the amp mate, it's u, I have had amps like the HRDx that I thought was not as nice sounding as my princeton Reverb, but it never sounded crap, it had some nice tone, yes the overdrive is a little flabby, but a Tube-Screamer jacked in with gain on 0 sorts it right out, A good player never blames his tools

@highwaterrising Don't worry about tabs. Pick up what licks you can and make your own version of it. Guitar players don't become legends by playing other musicians licks note for note. They pick up bits and pieces from every musician and make it their own!!

Okay, now what I’d like to do is stand here until the video stops recording…

What pickups would be in use here?? Gibson stock or other?? If Gibson, what??
@denforundrade6957 жыл бұрын
The guitar looks pretty new and since it's Bonamassa I would guess it's a VOS Les Paul. It would be easiest to assume the pickups are stock because if their not you would have a sea of other high end pickups to choose from...

@CHIPDADDY1000 Joe used these amps for quite a few years along with his Marshalls.

@murfdog19 i hear where your coming from, but i feel the best way to get your own style is learn your guitar idols style, eventually after learning a bunch of different styles you tend to mesh them into your own. thats just my opinion no disrespect to you bro

hes played Les Pauls even before gibson ever got their grubby hands on him..... hes a les paul fanatic
@denforundrade6957 жыл бұрын
Les Pauls are great guitars and especially if you trow in a pair of PAFs in them. I've currently got a pair of Dimarzio PAFs (80s) in my les paul and a pair of Dimarzio PAF pro's in my Jem (stock) form the late 80s. They sound just great...

What you hear and what a microphone picks up can be night and day. You'll always experience the sound warmer and fuller besides an amp rather than recording it or listening to it trough a mixer.
