People don't give Joe enough credit for actually building something that makes enough to pay hosts consistently as well as staff members. A lot of podcasts have started over the years and failed because building a well oiled machine is tough in this economy. I think Joe should get more credit for what he's built.

As much as I hate to say it kicking Rory and Mal to curb is the best thing he ever did business wise! It left him free to conduct business the way he wants and to shift the show around without restraint. He really did go sell a brick !

Wow… I never thought of that. It’s actually incredibly smart. It’s a counter action to the reaction pages (this page/ the stop, etc). It’s a symbiotic relationship that helps both parties garner views. The reaction / breakdown pages bring insight / attention to the podcast, and the narratives, while the podcast purposely plays into certain narratives to garner views
