No disrespect, I love Usher, but ain't no way. Chris is the one THAT can literally work with everyone/generations. Just how many collabs were Chris that didn't BIG HIT? He even introduced so many upcoming artists that the majority of us that we didn't know who about. Feat. Chris Brown alone is another type of genre.

I saw CB 2 days ago. It was so good, I’m looking in different states bc I want to catch it again it was that AMAZING. CB & Usher are in the same genre but in diff ways. kinda like Swiss cheese & Cheddar. We all know they’re cheeses but they taste different. Usher is treasured but Breezy is the GOAT of R&B. Periodt… I’m making this a declarative statement and it’s not up for debate after the concert I saw Thursday night. He was mesmerizing. Chris is the child Michael Jackson biologically never had. MJ is sitting up there in Heaven with his chest out watching Mr. Christopher Maurice Brown. Not put some respect on his name. He is the MJ of this era. Love Usher and I Love Chris but the 2 aren’t the same. ❤❤❤

It is not that Usher did not go through anything he is just from a different era where there was an actual PR and they protected their artists image. We just do not know what Usher has gone through. Usher has kept his career about his career and nothing more nothing less. To Usher's credit he also handled his career a lot better than Chris did in general with regards to how he's carried himself and his actions.

wild how people aren't considering this. Usher's career grew in that era where mystique about the artist was still very much valued. hence why the marketing teams ran a tight ship to protect the artists' image. it's really weird how ppl can use that as a knock against Usher. Especially when a lot of CB's public image being tarnished was no fault but his own.

Oh please. So because Chris has outwardly been through more adversity (which 90% is HIS doing), he somehow is “better” than Usher? And if you REALLY pay attention, you would realize that Usher keeps A LOT of his trauma close to the vest as a form of self protection. I don’t want to play struggle Olympics, but think about the Diddy of it all, him nearly getting dropped in 1995, his marriages ending in disaster, his stepson’s death, his own son nearly dying, music career decline, the lawsuits etc. Listen to his BET Lifetime Achievement Award speech. He openly said that there was a point when people “weren’t f*cking with him”. That told me everything I needed to know. Just because Usher’s career has rebounded doesn’t mean he hasn’t gone through his own stuff and is working through it. What kinda reasoning is this Joe? Just say you enjoyed Chris’ show and call it a day.

Everything Chris brown has done from the beginning of his career was the be the second Usher.
