I think its so wonderful that Kid Rock still in 2024 still honor's Joe C. At every show he has . And a few months ago watched a interview Kid had , he was saying how much he still misses him & thinks of him alot. ❤️❤️❤️
@someone481Ай бұрын
That interview was on Theo Von, and I thank him for that. I'm not saying Kid Rock doesn't go a day without thinking about Joe C. but he generally doesn't bring him up in interviews unless asked. I loved the story about Joe having to eat two bottles of tums, just one of those stories you'll never know about until Kid Rock decides to share.

@@bigorange000I saw them in 2001. When Joe C’s part came up on Devil without a cause, a huge tapestry was dropped down behind the band. It had a picture of Joe C on it. Ron Jeremy did the vocals on Joe C’s part. He switched the words up a little bit. Lol

Howard really changed, and everything he built his show on, he acts like he never did any of it. He really changed once 'Beth" came into the picture. What happened to Raging against the Machine Howard. Now, you are the Machine.

A classic. Good to see you posting a new video Dave. Howard's on vacation. But I have plenty to listen to from the show. I think they are playing the Summer School shows on Sirius. Not bad shows. But I still would rather hear the new stuff or some more of the classic shows with Artie. Have a good weekend~ Rob/Boston

Hey Rob! I checked out summer school and the new show last year and it just wasn't doing it for me. Too many people I liked are no longer there. Thanks Rob!!!

@@someone481 I am with you 101% Dave. I may sound like I am contradicting myself against my first comment. But here goes Dave. The HSS jumped the shark a little before covid and a little after Artie left. You can clearly see and hear that Howard is totally disconnected with his audience. Some of the newer shows have flashes {and I mean small flashes} of brilliance. But nothing will ever compare to classic days of the show. I am having a tough time quitting the show all together. I keep hoping to laugh like I did in the old days. But the laughs don't come. Are you still performing in any bands? Writing music? Collecting records? The VC also jumped the shark. Mostly everyone from the early days are gone~

Hey Rob, the Stern Shows greatest was all the absurdity, the porn stars, strippers, B-list comedians, etc, however at 70 years old I think it would sound weird for Howard doing all the stuff he use to do, talking about how horny he is etc. But the thing I hate most is the corporate shift. Richard and Sal aren't as crazy anymore, Ronnie moved, Jon Heins role changed, Gary, Will & Jason have turned into very bland people. And very few people could replace Jackie or Artie, but I kinda miss that extra mic. I get though Howard wanting to end his career the way he's doing it now, interviewing the biggest celebrities.
