Lyrics :
Good evening,Berlin! (2nd song of the concert,as it often happens)
Seems I got to have a change of scene
Cause every night I have the strangest dream
Imprisoned by the way,it could've been
Left here on my own or so it seems
I've got to leave before I start to scream
But someone's locked the door and took the key
Feelin' alright, (uh oh)
I'm not feelin' good myself enough, (uh oh)
Feelin' alright, (uh oh)
Alright,Feelin' alright,
I'm Not feelin' good myself, baby, (uh oh)
Boy you sure took me for one big ride
And even now I sit and I wonder why
And when I think of you I stop myself from cryin'
I Just can't waste my time I must get by
I got to stop belivin' in all your lies
Because there's too much to do before I die
Feelin' alright, (uh oh)
I'm not feelin' good myself enough, (uh oh)
Oh no, Feelin' alright, (uh oh)
Feelin' alright,
I'm not feelin' good myself, baby, (uh oh)
PIANO SOLO
INTRO PART
(Feelin' alright) Don't you get too lost in all I say
Yeah, but at the time you know I really felt that way
I said that was then and now you know it's today
I can't escape I guess I'm here to stay
Until someone comes along and take my place
With a different name and a different face
CHORUS x 3 with ad libs then fade.

This song has been, if not my favorite, at least one of my favorites, since it's release more that 50 years ago, in 1969. Everyone talks the about the amazing performances of the song, but I am inclined to think also in terms of it's composition. Specifically, the the piano "riff" (definition: "a short repeated phrase in popular music and jazz, typically used as an introduction or refrain in a song.") The importance of this riff has, I think, been more and more recognized by Joe as key to the song's success, and what I find particularly interesting is that the more recent performances, such as this one, repeat that piano riff not only in the introduction to the song, but also repeat it multiple times at the ending of the song -- that is, as "the thing for the listener is to be 'left with' after the song ends." That riff seems to be the work of Artie Butler -- search "Artie Butler Feelin Alright" if you are interested in that history.

Replying 7 yrs later! At the beginning, on-off, back on until 3 seconds left, rear view. At a point in the middle, he went to voice some lyric, that wasn’t heard...
