Awesome reaction! My favorite song by Joe Cocker is "Up Where We Belong", a duet he did with Jennifer Warnes, released back in 1982..

I very recently came across your videos, and even without speaking your facial reactions are so natural, and expressive.

Thank you for the background information. Yes, Joe was fantastic. Stunning. He came from Yorkshire in the north of England. See his performance at Woodstock. That really is something. To an Englishman, that sounds like a real,Southern accent you have there. Lovely to hear.

I remember going to see this movie when it came out in Theatres. Boy I am getting old but joe was the best on stage, plus he performed in this concert in his socks.

🤠 Laurie, the best description I ever read of Joe said he was "like a full-bodied human tuning fork!" 😂🎙🎵🎶

I think the way Joe Cocker covered songs was respectful in a way. His versions are so different to the original I wouldn t compare them. Each of them are standing for their own. No competition. And he s unique. He could have sung christmas songs... same result

Backup singer woman in yellow @1;23 was the keyboard player in the all female band Fanny,,,.NIcky barclay....was apparently a nightmare to tour with...Joe Cocker's tour photographer relayed that to me anyway. From the ourtside looking in ..it all looks like fun and love..but apparently Leon and Joe hated each other after the tour. Apparently there was talk of doing a Mad Dogs and Englishmen reunion at some point but Joe didnt want to because it brought back bad memories.

Love Joe Cocker! Got to see him live 3-4 times. His live performances are amazing! Here's 1 he did maybe 30 years after The Letter that you have to see! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXW1Y5mOpK2Xh9k He was still a beast doing live performances! This is "You Can Leave Your Hat On" from the movie 9 1/2 Weeks.
