I was one of the first 500 or so to pre-order the new Sterling Joe Dart back in May. I can't wait for mine to ship in November! I love how they're getting them into the hands of some bass influencers who have made videos highlighting and hyping up an instrument that you can't even buy until someone decides to sell theirs on Reverb at the end of the year.

I had to pick up the bass about 35 years ago. The band I was in had 4 guitarist, I was one of them. Haven't played one much since. I do appreciate the fact that a bass player is a much different animal. This show always highlights great bass players. And a few I never heard of. I always learn something watching. Great content.

Simple EQ and I feel it's better to get one great sound than fifty good sounds. Then work with that one great sound to get what ever I need, anything! BTW, my name is Jon.

Just saw Vulfpeck at their recording residency at the U.C. Theatre in Berkeley. They did not disappoint and, as usual, Joe stole the show with absolute funky dominance! The new material is very cool, but definitely leans in an old school (think 70s yacht rock, but a bit grimier.)
