The heel tab should read ‘made for resale’ as no way you’re getting these at retail. If they go like the 992 did, they won’t be attainable for most people. Shame as they’re a unique look with beautiful materials.

Dam might have to get this too.. just gotten my bembury water be the guide as well. My shoe rack is quickly gaining in on the NB, thanks to you and not in a bad way - in my late 30s now, NB are just much more wearable with their design and quality that can stand through time.

Reporting back! Finally got my pairs in hand. Gorgeous pairs, some glue stains and agree that minor parts of the dark blue paintjob can be better. Your advice has the sizing spot on again; I went half size down despite my feet being slightly wide and there is still slight wiggle space at the toes; towards the snug fit but perfect for me and very comfortable.

I tried all of the raffles this morning and,of course, struck out. I tried on New Balances’ website and there was an hour wait in line. I went straight to GOAT and bought my pair. It actually wasn’t crazy over retail and the price is holding firm all day. Grab these if you’re on the fence. I have the “Anatomy of a Heart” 992’s, and they skyrocketed. Look forward to wearing these. Thanks for another great review Sean, and explaining the comfort level and sizing, as always. (Blue Jays creeping up on the Yankees). 👍🏼

Hey Sean, another great review mate! I'm split down the middle on these, I think that they look great but for me I would find it fairly difficult to work in that colourway with an outfit of mine, it's certainly a unique colourway but I don't think that I would even pay retail for them (they are going to retail here for $380 AUD), I have the Bodega and Kith Genesis and personally prefer the understated look of those two

I still think the Bodega 990v3 looks better than JFG, just my opinion. JFG is too much of bright color for me. The on feet portion looked better. Whoever got these, wear them outside! Wear ya sneakers!
