Lots of love for CC from both Yankee fans & baseball fans everywhere. Painful to see him hurting as he departed but it surely doesn’t diminish one iota from all the well deserved respect he’s worked hard to earn. There’s more to life than his baseball career and he’s been smart to have planned for it in his personal life. Really shows the character of the man. A legend that all can aspire to imitate.

As I watched the game yesterday in Hawaii, another New Yorker and I watched him leave the mound for the final time. With tears in our eyes, we clapped as if we were at Yankee Stadium. The people around us didn’t understand why. But we knew. I happened to work for the YANKEES in 2009, and of the surest things in baseball that championship season was watching CC Sabathia do his thing. We had, have, and always will have an ace in him.

Girardi was the one who was famous for changing jerseys just like Brian Bruney first in 1996 he was number 25 then he became number 27 in 2008-2009 then he was finally number 28 from 2010-2019 when he worn 27 and 28 he was a legend manager he always got fired up and pissed off whenever something went wrong for the Yankees, now the Phillies see that after Girardi was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2020, also if anyone ever sees Joe Girardi in Yankee Stadium as a triumphant return to his old team we have to get his autograph if I buy his first Yankees jersey then his 2008/2009 yankees jerseys and his 2010-2019 yankees jersey aka numbers 25 27 and 28 and we’ll get those 3 jerseys signed by him maybe even Giancarlo Stanton can sign Joe Girardi’s 2008 All Star/Final Season at Yankee Stadium jersey even Austin Romine if he’s in one of the teams, that way there are 3 signatures on Girardi’s 2008 jersey, by Joe Girardi himself, Austin Romine when he returns to Yankee Stadium on a different team and Giancarlo Stanton, for number 28 we can get Joe Girardi and Josh Donaldson’s signatures for Joe’s jersey from 2010-2019, and number 25 we can get Joe Girardi, Jason Giambi, Mark Teixeira, and Gleyber Torres’s signatures on that jersey, we can see if we can do for number 99 Matt Howard Brian Bruney and Aaron Judge’s signatures since Charlie Keller is probably no longer with us on earth and then for numbers 77 and 11 we can get Clint Frazier and Anthony Volpe to sign signatures on Clint Frazier’s old jersey, and for number 11 same thing but Brett Gardner replacing Clint Frazier this time, and maybe even Tyler Austin and DJ LeMejiu’s signatures on their Yankees jersey aka number 26
