Its a great cause, although I am quite worried.. Lets say an unlikely scenario occurs where in you would get knocked unconscious and relocated to a hypothetical trash compactor, how are you planning on reclaiming Joe in such a situation?

at the end of the series the headcrab says his iconic catphrase: "i'm joe going home" as he steps into the xen portal he's torn asunder upon entry

Little do we know there's actually a secret joe ending where if you bring him to xen he will attach to the gman in the last scene and then teleport you to the combine overworld where you get to style on them before they invade earth

I'll never get over when they killed Joe off at the end of Half Life. Sure his voice actor had died shortly before they finished developing his character, so they felt they had to give the character a proper send off, but the way they did it was kind of cliche. Making him the final boss as a twist that he actually wanted to steal your body, and zombify you all along, just didn't sit right with me. It felt forced since you basically played the entire game with Joe as your only source of company that you could call a true friend, or possibly more. But then Valve decided to ruin the best part of the game, by making Joe give you a villain monologue full of LIES in the form of a letter with terrible penmanship(did Gaben forget that Joe canonically is a calligrapher by trade?!) and that just broke the immersion for me. Then Valve making defeating Joe the only way to get the so called "good" ending where you travel back in time, and stop the resonance cascade from ever happening. But doing this means you'll never meet Joe, so I always thought it was the worst ending you could get(much worse than the ending where you become supreme leader of Xen).
