Joe was a huge inspiration to so many keepers at a young age including myself and played a huge role in my development as a goalkeeper. And to see a fantastic video like this Con is brilliant 👍

As a Man City fan Joe Hart will always be a legend! As a GK, Joe Hart was one of the reasons why I put my gloves back on after a long injury left me out of playing for my local team for nearly 3 seasons, started training with a new team now for this season and finding a love for goalkeeping once again. Watching the videos you put out each week is a real inspiration as well so thank you for that :D Love it!!

Joe Hart was the reason I started being a goalkeeper and I have followed him throughout his career no matter what team he played for. Some of the questions you asked I have always wondered about and to finely know the answers was incredible. Would love to see you and Joe do something again sometime, definitely my favourite video I've watched with my favourite keeper and youtuber.

To see the success both of you have reached is the reason I keep going after my back injury, because I know that I will get better if I do rehab well and take it slow, it proves that everything is possible!

Definitely the biggest thing I took away from that as a goalkeeper is that “you have to want to be there” and be a goalkeeper to perform well. Class video as always and there was so much to take away. Good luck on the next match Connor!

Thank you, Conor, for the insight with Joe! His charisma and his own personality are definitely something we don't see a lot of with modern goalkeepers. His leadership skills are definitely something a lot of young goalkeepers can learn from, especially with the reference to setting up walls in free kicks (and chewing gum in training haha). A true inspiration to watch for both England and Man City when growing up!
@jonnyvallance52742 жыл бұрын
Thank you Conor ! Loved it when Hart said “you have to enjoy being in goal I can’t give technical advice “the lesson learnt is as a goalkeeper you must identify strengths and weaknesses and then use your strengths to become the best keeper !

OMG I cannot believe you did this Conor!! I remember Joe Hart during those good old days at Man City (2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons to be exact) when he made tremendous saves. Liverpool supporters at the time were sooooo skeptic about the final score of any game they had versus Man City, just because of Hart. Thanks a million for uploading!

Loved this interview! Con should start a podcast for goalkeepers when he retires, which is hopefully a long time from now. As someone who grew up admiring different styles of goalkeepers and Joe being one of them, it was nice to see more of his personality. Being a goalkeeper for many years has allowed me to fall in love with the process of trying to get better. I enjoy training more than I do games now. Watching the England goalkeeper training sessions has been so valuable. Anyways, Thank you for everything you do Connor! Your work ethic speaks for itself! 👐⚽️
