If I'm being honest conor is the best out of them he is the only goalie that doesn't do that instagram stuff and unlike the others he is actually playing pro just because you make top bin saves and have some good distribution doesn't mean you're good . Conor can actually play in games and that's what matters

Hi Conor, I've got a quite specific problem recently: like a cross goes in the box and someone heads it or kick it in a poor manner, then the ball went straight up high and straight down. You can't use the basket catch since the attackers are ready to jump for header so it's neccessary to get the ball in the highest point. So the problem is I found these balls are hard to catch, it's not like a normal shot or cross that tend to move toward you, so it either easily slip off my hands or worse, goes behind me. Should there be a change in hands position when catching a ball like this or should I just puch them out?

It's a hard ball to catch definitely, but quite an easy one to practice; just throw the ball straight up in the air, and practice taking it at the highest point possible! Depending on how confident you are with the technique, you can punch if you feel it's safer, but I'd encourage you to work on it to improve, as catching is always better if possible!

@@ConorOKeefe Yeah thanks a lot. Actually I'm using a high wall to practice these days, so when I throw the ball at it with a smaller angle, it just create a ball like this. I found that give me more time to prepare for jump and has a little randomness in it comparing with throw it up myself.

It's tough when you move to bigger goals, but I'd say for the first few games just try and play and enjoy it! Things might go wrong, but don't worry. The more games you play, the better you will get at your positioning, but keep checking your posts to make sure you are in the correct position. Enjoy it!!
