Ooooommmmgggg! !! That took me back to when I was a kid and my parents tricked us into eating brain by telling us it was a Pakistani omelette! Hahaha. First and last time I ate brain. My mum is Kashmiri so she doesn't cook such typical Pakistani dishes like haleem and nahari. But I do love haleem too , only had it a handful of times. Will have to try nahari out one day. My mouth is drooling. Sounds a lot like kleftiko, a Cypriot slow clay oven cooked beef/lamb dish that melts in your mouth. Still my favourite meal ever was a Cypriot banquet in a rustic restaurant on top of a long winding road. Not just the most authentic scrumptious Cypriot food but probably still my top culinary pleasure ever!
