@@THEpopelonergan it’s a real shame, i as well as some wrestling fans were overjoyed when the belts got split, and even more overjoyed when they got a new makeover (smackdown ones being my personal favourite, due to nostalgic look). I even went as far to purchase replica versions of them both, as it’s a breath of fresh air to see gold on a tag title. Then nothing was amounted. I think a serious, menacing looking tag team holding one set of them will give them more meaning. Both sets have already changed hands, and we’re not even 4 months removed from mania, one of them sets have gone back to an original holder (before the new design). I remain hopeful that they will be used better. With the rumour of MCMG coming over to WWE, in my opinion they would be a great holder of either.

When I was younger, about 5 years ago, I didn't care about wrestling. I would watch parts of RAW if my dad had it on, went to a couple house shows and enjoyed those, but it never pulled me in. My dad then got into AEW in 2019, and I would watch a little bit of it with him sometimes, but again, didn't care, and made fun of it sometimes. Fast forward to August something, 2023: SummerSlam. My dad had it on in the garage and I was in and out. But I sat there and watched all of Brock vs Cody, and some of Jey vs Roman. Brock vs Cody shocked me. "I don't remember wrestling being this good" I thought. I started playing 2K16 on the Xbox One since we'd had it pretty much for 7 years and I hadn't played it in a while. It was a blast. Then, August 25th, 2023: All In. I vividly remember being actually excited about this once it was on despite not having watched any AEW programming since a little bit of All Out 2021 (I think) which was interrupted by my grandmother having an "emergency" phone problem which took me out of it a little. I watched Hook vs Perry on the pre show (real glass), CM Punk vs Samoa Joe and whatever the fight all over the arena match with Mox they had was. And I also watched some of the other stuff (main event was fun). September 4th, 2023: Monday Night RAW. I went downstairs at 7:00 and was hooked. Kept watching every week after that and now it's pretty much taken over my life and I've branched out into TNA as well. I'm now 15. You can't force your kids to watch it. They may never like it. But if it's on in the background, sometimes all it takes is one match to get them hooked into this wonderful entertainment medium known as professional wrestling.
