I've got my cab set up in a different room right now and miced a 1969 Celestion G12m-25 75Hz T1221 with a Shure SM57 and a 90s Sennheiser MD421, which is what was used for Farmikos.

Saw Joe with Oz in the late-90s. He’s an outstanding player, and his tone was absolutely killer (with a Strat/Floyd/Humbucker that looked just like that and probably plugged into Jose just like this)

Eddy, have you played the Heritage 20watt Greens?? Those for me, are the closest to the grail driver’s you’re drivin’ here. It’s like the microphone frequencies get mega-expanded from the Pulsonic sauces erupting like a volcano into the microphone… KILLER.

I've only played a 1960AHW, which I think had the 30W Heritage speakers. I think the 20W Heritage are similar to the EVH ones?

Yep, same speaker but different sticker on the magnet. Now they’re not quite as bright as standard Greenbacks but bite like hell in the right frequencies. They like a lot of signal going through them. They’re closer to that Pulsonic sound & vibe then the Chinese standard Greens.

Also, those settings you have on the Hot Chili 100 up on top are dope AF Eddy!! The quintessential late 80’s, early 90’s rhythm tone, killer for leads while riding the guitar pots for all sorts of killer tones & vibes🤘🏻
