Punk? New Wave, Power Pop, even Jazz Fusion fit these guys better. Hardcore punk is screaming, vulgar or stupid lyrics, noise, and bad to mediocre musicianship, except for maybe the Clash, Ramones, and a few other bands. These guys sing great, have intelligent lyrics, and exceptional musicianship. Punk is dead, this music never dies.
