Great interview. Those two unreleased songs would make an entire album. Please release them!

This was great and answered a lot of questions for me about Crack The Sky! I always wondered what happened to Jim Griffiths and Gary Lee Chappel. The first CTS album I heard was Safety In Numbers and to this day it is my fav CTS album, and one of my all time favorite albums period. At the time I bought it, I knew nothing about the band. I heard the album listening to a local radio station in Jacksonville, NC where I am from. They used to do a midnight album feature and they played it one night. I went out the next day to our local Record Bar and bought the album. The next one I got was Live Sky. I think the cover of I am The Walrus that they did was better than the original done by The Beatles! Their albums were a mixed bag to me after Live Sky, but seemed to pick up when they did From The Greenhouse and Dog City. Loved both albums except the drums on them. I thought they sounded pretty bad. Joey D'Amico is credited as a band member on both albums, but just does background vocals. JP played the drums. Why?????

Charles, thanks so much. Lots of good CTS stuff in your interview with Joe. I hope egos and schedules allow them to sit down in Stubby and talk Crack. I would love to see the five original members and the cast of thousands that helped out along the way.

I'm born and raised in steubenville, (only 20 years old) and I'm so happy that I got to see crack the sky in 2019! People will tout the talents of people from around the Ohio valley like Dean Martin and Brad Paisley but Crack The Sky really blew me away! I got to see brad paisley later and it was great too but it just couldn't compare to how electrifying this crazy crew of 70 year olds! I think I graduated with Joe's grandchildren?(they may be his great nephews) Some serious talent in his relatives too. Joey either just graduated or is graduating this year and he's an absolutely insane percussion player.

The question not asked as of 14:52 is Why weren't the Albums available in Colorado?
@TvFreeBaltimore

From Wiki: "Records were promised but never arrived at the distribution centers. The record would be on the radio but there would be no product on the store shelves or visa versa [sic]. When people wanted it, it would never be available."[1] By what some[who?] termed blind luck, the marketing did work in Baltimore, only because a surplus of records was shipped there and put on display in stores

@@TvFreeBaltimore Thanks, Jim is my brother. His friends and family always thought the band just joined the long list of those ripped off by their label. Great Shows, Thanks!

@@davidgriffiths2069 What a fantastic musician your brother is, I read that he became a pilot maybe after music? I also remember reading that he was to play an acoustic intro for a song for the Macre band King Friday from a few years back. Hope he is well, and his musical prowess will live on forever on record, that's spicy a meatball!
