Hollywood Palace... Route 40... near Ellicott City, Maryland. Saw them for the first time. Either late 1975 or early 1976. Good Lord where have the years gone.

They gone bye bye, but the memories remain...first or second album I bought that wasn't swiped from the library..."Safety In Numbers"...the other was Van Halen I...my brother from a different mother turned me on Crack The Sky...and of course 98 Rock...then some shows in the area turned me into a lifelong fan...

kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6q9kmighMShg7c Dogboy is/was John Palumbo (Bass, Vocals), John Tracey (Drums), and Ron Zebron from the late 90's version of Crack The Sky. They released one album in 1999 titled "Guerilla Jazz." I cannot remember how I acquired a copy of this music. It was never publicly released as far as I know. But in the late 90's, I was a rabid Crack The Sky collector. I would trade copies of recordings I owned with other CTS junkies... and at some point obtained this recording in 2002. If you're a music obsessive who dives down the rabbit hole to find everything a band recorded, and love Crack The Sky... you're gonna like listening to this. The band recorded seven, what I call jazz-rock interpretations of Beatles songs. They are - 1) Magical Mystery Tour 2) Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da 3) Blackbird 4) Rain 5) One After 909 6) Taxman 7) Lady Madonna Enjoy!

Was at the Jergels show 3-7-20 and as always CTS delivered the goods. These guys are always stellar. Have seem them probably more than a dozen times going back to the late 70s early 80s in B'more and maybe 4 times in Western PA. The opening act, The Semi Supervillains were a welcome surprise; CTS doesn't need an opener but these Three lads played a tight set of original music (nothing worse than a cover/tribute band). But lets be honest this video is barely above the quality of something shot on a phone. The CCTV feed from Jergel's and a lot of loud conversations in the background about how your date with Julie went or how much you hate your boss etc etc.
