I AM 62 lost my Dad at 47 miss him so much .He used to dance with my mother and sang his Irish ditties to us when we were small ...there was 10 of us and my mum did a grand job raising 7 after he passed but those memories still live on 😢 joe was 👍 great xx

When I was about 8 my father would dance with my two sisters and me .I was so small I had to stand on his shoes when he took me to dance Every Saturday us 3 girls had to do cleaning and we always play our records with lovely old songs. When we finished cleaning thats when my dad would dance with us 3 girls. I love this song yet it makes me sad 😢 Even though I am 79 yrs old I will never forget those good old days ❤

My Dad passed away at home just when I got home from school right infront of me. It was 6 day before m 10th birthday and he was a great father to me and my 2 brothers and sisters. I still go out to our family cemetery to pay my respects. I will be 72yrs old this year.
