It's an extension pole used for painting walls. You'll need to attach your own cold shoe.

+J14MP He is promoting 600 dollar flashes for lighting to all the new people who really don't know any better and are to caught up on the pocket flash craze because a few people made it popular. Nikon Canon and Adorama love him for it for selling those overpriced under powered pocket flashes to new people who don't know better. Before you get all defensive you don't use a underpowered pocket flash as your main tool to light on the job. Sure you can use it hear and there in the right situations of low light small sittings semi close up. But for most jobs this is to little power and not very cost effective. Plus he keeps pushing the whole ETTL automatic flash or let the flash figure things out for you. Wow really guys real working people do not use this way. Not to mention its not even that hard to manually power things and figure out power outputs. Auto flash gets fooled constantly not to mention its not consistent because of that. Why pros shoot manual. Do you see formula 1 drivers driving automatics? no manual... Get it.

+RViscara lol I feel like you've never tried using speed lights. And Formula one drivers use dozens of driver aids.

+J14MP LOL I say to the fanboy who thinks his feelings are physic and knows if I have used pocket flashes or have not. I been shooting for 19 years full time for a living "not a newbie who bought a camera and now calls himself a pro" I been using a vivitar 285 hidden in the corners of server farms for years where I can't fit any other flash and most likely when you where still trying to master sync speeds. That said I suggest you go buy some more 600 dollar pocket flashes and make those guys at Adorama wealthy and you to have to change battery after battery. While the ones with experience know better and are using power packs and you can only shoot at 2.8 or 4.5 and are forced to shoot with no depth of field and wait for recycle times. By all means spend your money and leave it to the big boys.
