Why ? Every single year 1 dimensional quarterbacks come out and fail, please tell me that you don’t fall for the hype ? Milton has a chance if he goes to a good organization that isn’t going to rush him, he needs to sit at least 2 years and learn how to read defenses and how to be a Professional Quarterback. Otherwise he will have a short career bouncing around and then out of the league …

QUICK FLUID RELEASE. THATS SO UNDERRATED. THINK ABOUT HOW QB’S NEED TO LOAD UP FOR THOSE BIG THROWS, HE SIMPLY FLICKS THAT WRIST WITH THE SAME MOTION AS HE DOES FOR A SIMPLE FIVE YARD DIG AS A GO ROUTE. SO FOR TEAMS WITH PASS BLOCKING ISSUES, HE CAN MASK THAT WITH THIS ABILITY. CASE IN POINT OF THAT WUICK RELEASE, START VIDEO AT 3:14.

If the Steelers could get this guy day 3 I'd think he'd be an amazing fit, maybe even take the starting role from Kenny. The pocket presence, the ability to improvise and use his legs. I see a lot of Josh Allen in this guy. Just big dude that can sling it and run it. I think he'd be a perfect fit in Arthur Smith's offense.

Big facts. I think we can get em late to. I've done multiple mocks trading back our 11 with the bills for there pick 1st, 3rd and 4th this year and a 2nd and 3rd next year. Usually Milton drops to rounds 4-5. Load defense in rounds 1-3 and than other needs.

Arm talent is insane. Has prototypical size for the position and has shown to be durable even when called upon to run the ball. Struggles with the mental aspect of playing quarterback, though. Doesn’t consistently read the field quickly enough or well enough. He’s improved his footwork, but still has some bad footwork habits that plague his downfield accuracy at times. One other tidbit of note is that Heupel didn’t utilize the middle of the field as much this season as he did last season with Hendon Hooker at QB. I suspect that was at least partially due to Heupel not trusting Milton to find the safeties. Milton’s 1st quarter INT in the South Carolina game was a prime example of this. Tennessee’s red zone offense also wasn’t very good at finishing drives with touchdowns as a result of Heupel’s hesitancy to let Milton air it out as the field began to shrink. Milton is a draft worthy prospect with all the physical tools you could ask for, but he still has a good bit of developing to do before he’s ready to be a reliable NFL backup, let alone a starter.

If this dude is available in the 3rd round still then the Steelers really need to take a chance on him. Hell even the 2nd round.
