@@billy8197 no doubt, Morton was a stud in Houston and Tampa. I think when you get to an organization run by someone you know cares less about winning your "give a sh!t light" goes out. I know they're supposed to be professionals and win anywhere but the pirates owner even in their years where they were winning never made a real effort of trying to win. They traded for a couple of past their prime players in Byrd and morneau back in 2015 when they could have really bought in and got a substantial return.

@@victorr1399 a no hitter means you absolutely dominated the opposing team. It's a personal stat entirely. Not ever meant to be a team stat. A no hitter win and a 7 runs in 5 innings win are very different, extremely so in the personal level, which is where we care about it on. The team level is irrelevant

@@pohorex6834 so what it's one game. Does it increase your chances of winning a world series no. Does it even mean you'll win the series of the team who lost no. Baseball is a team game who cares if one person has a great game what if the rest of season they play terrible. Musgrove is 4 era pitcher he has a good game which is fine for him. That dosent make him a great pitcher all of sudden. Its overrated but my opinion.

@@user-mu1qb7jh7q For sure, but like the guy said, the catcher knowing the lineups and what pitches to call when and against who makes such a big difference. I was a little surprised how many Padres fans were in the stands. I don’t know if that speaks to the Padres, or the Rangers as of late. Or both.

Jomboy is a great ambassador for the game of baseball. He's great for all ages of the sport. The attention to detail to the whole pitcher/catcher connection added a new aspect of enjoyment to watching baseball for me. Glad this exists. Jomboy is going parabolic in the future.
