honestly. players just need to play and forget anything umpires do. we have cameras to call balls and strikes. if its a super close call on bases and tags. again. camera and the intercom can call them out and safe. until Umpires get their rules and guidelines reworked and EGO CHECKED. I say ignore anything they do and play without them. Umpires have literally ruined so many sports for me. Especially baseball

I was a catcher and i always set up for the ball in front of the plate for the ball because i knew certain guys were going to plow right over me if i blocked the plate. Its better this way trust me. Its way better than getting drilled and losing your life.

The home plate umpire should be fined heavily for throwing out someone without knowing who, and then asking the manager to pick someone to throw out. That second ump should be fined too, but not as much. Everyone's first duty is to the truth, to what's right. Not to save face, not to ego. But to what is true and what is right.

I'm guessing saying 'right foot' the first time would be an easy mistake because the pitcher's left foot is on the right side from the umpires position.
