The thing they don't have in common was Joe Joyce beat DDD with DDD being healthy before the start of their fight. Joe Joyce went up against Parker after JP had been quite ill leading up to the fight admitted by him in a one off video which I watched.(they don't like making excuses so they've just moved on with no more mention of it).His energy levels were low after being ill and showed big time in that fight. In hindsight that fight should have been postponed but it wasn't. It is what it is. He moves forward.

@ They are fighters. A cold or a flu shouldn’t hamper their ability by a significant margin. I’m sure being ill is very insignificant compared to being punched by a 6 foot 6 280 pound man mountain. AJ also had an adrenaline dump before his fight with Dubois. He didn’t make that an excuse for his loss.

in order to beat dubois you have to have granite chin. Thats how joe joyce won and uysik won against him. AJ has no chin so no chance to go against dubois. Parker has a granite chin and that led him a win against zhang.

Let's be honest, Dubois got dropped by Lerena, beat an obese Miller and struggled at times with an over-hyped Hrgovic who fights like once a year against tin cans.. I'm not buying the hype just because he beat Mr Humble, who hasn't been the same since Andy Ruiz.. Parker has been more active and beats one dimensional Dubois in my opinion.
