Totally agree they tried this tactic with Joyce and it backfired miserably. I prefer him lighter, quicker on his feet with better hand speed too. He’s not a power puncher and won’t beat Dubois by trading with him.

He actually didnt have one his whole career until after he fought Jack Massey. Thats when he linked up with George Lockhart and has looked really good ever since then. The problem that Dubois has to face is that the crazy life changing money is with AJ, Fury or to a lesser extent Usyk. Does Dubois want to earn £20 million plus fighting against AJ and Fury or two or three million fighting against Parker? Even Saudi will not pay those mega fees because Parker is not box office. I think that Dubois should go after the big names because AJ and co. will only be around for a couple of years and if Dubois is still at the top in 2026/27 he can fight whoever happens to be the latest contender then.
