Thanks for watching! My favorite jazz guitarist is Joe Pass. I also play jazz in open tuning. When Christmas comes around, I'll play Joe Pass's White Christmas.

Amazing! Would you kindly share the transcription?

@@ignacioagurcia2808 I learn by ear, no transcription. It's open tuning, so it's different from normal performance. Thank you for Watching!

Absolutely lovely. :) 1) You brought sound levels DOWN.....not up. VERY tasteful. :) 2) The arpeggios are even, very legato, at tempo and balanced....underneath the melody, as they should be. I will say it....."Thank Heavens you do NOT sound like Tommy Emmanuel or Richard Smith". :) 3) You, Sir, have analyzed and rationalized what you play. You are well prepared and "play with intent". 4) We can't wait for the "White Christmas" film. "Six String Santa" is a great album that Joe did. :) Best to you. :) Antoine

Which guitar is your favorite and why? What amp are you using here?
@keimusic3Ай бұрын
Thank you for watching the video! My favorite is the Gibson 175. For blues rock, Gibson SG '61 reissue. I like the guitar playing of Joe Pass and Derek Trucks. I'm using an audio interface here. I have a Fender '68 Custom Princeton Reverb, but it's too loud to use at home.
