I wasn't in this brothas prison era, I'm 90's. He's right we had it much easier, thanks to him and brothas like him i appreciate his sacrifice...The descendants of this CCO mentality taught me how to analyze, security, and the discipline to study and work out. I dropped out of high school, with out that foundation i would still be in those cages. I utilize the same mentality out here on these streets, and having it my way. That's why i support these videos. Thank you!

"I know they don't want me to tell this story, but I'm Joe Rock Head" This is as real as it gets fellas. First off, much respect OOG Joe Rock Head! Secondly, shout out to the Professor, OOG Mellie Mel! The most impactful weapon the police employed against our community organizations was the removal of the OOGs from the hood. The mentoring from Solid, Real G's that were men of character and respect were the foundation of the organization. The vacuum that was left is what the OG described, youngstas coming up without guidence and being lost. Unfortunately, this is producing what we have in the younger generation. This production has to be one of the best yet, without question and that's saying alot, because all of these masterpieces are all without measure!! Much respect OG Kev Mac on what you're doing bruh! Outstanding!!!

Us Northern Mexicans appreciate you showing our OGs their love, respect, and appreciation, Big Homie! Saludos, Carnal!✊🏼 I like the fact in this interview you let the unknown and the viewers known that there is a split between us Mexicans (Nortenos, Surenos, Bulldogs) and that we don't ride together in prison and on the street much like the Damus/Pirus and Crips. Much love, Rocc Head! Keep dropping these jewels and lacing these boots the real way, OG.

That you refer to African -Americans as “ a black” is troubling ; do you men a single person or the whole group of AA ? It’s like hearing ignorant blacks call your people “ mess’kins”- it’s IGNORANT and demeaning In the 70s to 80s, many Mexican gangs had figured it “out”( heroin drug use, senseless tit for tat killings, going to jail ) and for a while STOPPED the bullshit; unfortunately blacks turned up the volume on the violence first with the Crips forming and terrorizing then then the bloods forming as a counter; from the 80s to 90s , LA and much of Southern California was a nightmare to be black or anybody else dealing with gangbangers. Funny enough outside of prisons there wasn’t much stress between black Americans and Mexican Americans By the late 90s though , the growing population of 1st gen Mexicans bring their kids up ( mostly unsupervised ) and influx of Central Americans causing conflict led to the EME seeing an opportunity to become relevant again. A lot of blacks both affiliated with gangs and NOT , who had no problem hanging with Mexican friends and homies, started seeing HOSTILE attitudes from people they called friends from childhood. EME ordered attacks on blacks, EME / Surenos fire bombed and forced black families OUT of some neighborhoods, EME encouraged these hate crimes and even non gang banging mexican folks started embracing the mindset, using ANY incident they could to justify it ( in my old neighborhood it was the rumor of black gangbangers robbing a Palates man- turns out he was robbed by some Central American gangbangers , yet several non gang member blacks were shot and only ONE crip got shot, and no retaliation on Mexican gang members who happily did it) Blacks have always been a minority group in CA, they never put out the hostility now seen as comfortable and convenient by Hispanics ( people who still get the raw end by whites just like the blacks) I applaud you for not getting in the mess but remember to take people on a case by case basis, cause everyone who looks like YOU isn’t on your side , and everyone not like you are not always your enemies....

I'm from the Bay & never knew Crips had such organization & Black militant knowledge. By the time I hit Pelican Bay in 1996 shyt was waaay different from Joe's time. We gotta see past that gang shit and look at the bigger picture. Imagine what we can do if N.F and EME united. Oh and trust me, ive spoken to surenos and other nortenos about how do they feel about raza uniting, youd be surprised how many are saying we need to come together. And yes im talking to ACTIVES not some vatos that dropped out and snitched. I never been to the penitentiary but spent 4 1/2 years in .Y.A and realized even during that time knew something isnt right with raza fighting each other. Other blacks "That's yall war" leaving the crips to fight alone. Got damn no wonder so many brothers got stabbed. How can you win when you getting set up, then your own aren't backing you up. I'm glad he spoke on how they would let Southerners and Whites, sneak into cells and stab brothers. George Jackson, Tookie and others talked about it.

Wow i never thought i would rank another interview ahead if King Babalouie the origin of the Bloods But this one goes deep and hard. He reminds me of Bolow from BH. And he's 1000% correct dudes that went to prison in the 90's and beyond didn't have it rough like those in the mid 80s and 70s. One key element is the old prison had a bunch of blind spots you could blast someone and get away with it. Now days if you blast someone after the CO's do there interviews i remember when they first started them in like 99 you about to be busted. And his so right about the BGF i was in old Corcoran C yards in 96 and all of them was on dope bad. Same in Salinas Valley State Prison. You'll get a donation out of me Kev Mac just give me a day or two. The bar has been set super high. Got to give credit where credit is due.

@@chuckpridgeon4557 Some of us northerners are educated about our history as Mexicanos/Aztecs/Mexica and also the history and relations between Mexico and the runaway slaves that ran into Mexico for there FREEDOM that mexico also helped fight for, straight up told the U.S any slaves that crosses the border is a free man. To top off some more knowledge SLAVES were also brought to Central/bottom parts of MEXICO. I find it important to know your history because you'll eventually find out who the real enemy is. One Love to my southside RAZA, open your eyes ese. Blacks are not the enemy. We helped them in the past. We are systematically being oppressed through this white man system. We are the descendants of natives and slaves, dont forget that. Look at RAZA and the BLACKS being pushed out of the ghettos GENTRIFICATION. I hope any ACTIVE can feel what im saying. Whether your Crip Sureno Norteno Blood Bay 415. We've been divided and conquered straight up. Too much division between black n brown.

Daniel it’s the truth 1 your right and the divided is how the white people wants to keep us. I’m from the South and here we get along blacks and Mexicans even in prison we got along no matter if it was southern 13 or Nothern 14 in Texas we get along . Houston and Dallas . I know every state has different politics . I be out in Los Angeles and Inglewood and Sacramento and Oakland . I was in Inglewood from March until mid April I caught a Uber to O mello burgers 🍔 I change my mind and was walking to Jim burgers on down the block . So something told me to turn around and this Mexican was walking towards me and asked what set was I from I laughed and was like gone with that bs so he was like you Gangster I never answered those two questions so in the process I could tell he was strapped the car he got out of was running with two Mexicans in it . I know the plan was to murk me and run back to the car they saw me before I saw them. I had on some red and one’s shorts and a white tee. He caught on to my accent and was like your not from here huh I was like nah am from the South so he said his name was pwee and this his hood and threw up something and ran back to his car .
